Rio: The Movie

         Rio: The Movie, is a 3D computer-animated musical comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and directed by Carlos Saldanha. Just like the title ‘Rio’ The film was set to the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. The film features the voices of Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, Jemaine Clement and Jake T. Austin. The film tells the story of Blu (Eisenberg), a male blue macaw who is taken to Rio de Janeiro to mate with a female. He eventually falls in love with Jewel (Hathaway), a free-spirited macaw, and together they have to escape from being smuggled by Nigel (Clement), a cockatoo.

        20th Century Fox released the film on March 22, 2011 in Brazil and April 15, 2011 in the United States. The film received generally positive reviews from film critics. Observers praised the visuals, voice acting and music. The film was also a box office success, grossing over $479 million worldwide.

         Rio has received generally positive reviews from film critics. As of June 2011, review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes has scored a 72% rating, with an average rating of 6.4 out of 10, based on 133 reviews. The website's consensus is "This straightforward movie hits great heights thanks to its colorful visual palette, catchy music, and perfect vocal performances. Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly gave the movie a "mixed" C rating. Gleiberman praised the animation in Rio and its music, and later went on to say that the film is "less a Pixar-level pleasure than a busy, frantic, and overstuffed dessert of a movie." Betsy Sharkey of the Los Angeles Times gave a positive review of the film. Sharkey said that the storyline is an "eco-sensitive variation of 101 Dalmations with birds as prey," and praised the film for its comic action and the voices, as well as the visuals.

         Rio has made $143,323,281 in North America, as of August 7, 2011, along with $336,000,000 in other territories, which totals up to $479,323,281 worldwide, becoming the seventh-highest grossing film of 2011, behind Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, Fast Five, Kung Fu Panda 2, and The Hangover Part II. It was the first film of 2011 to pass the $400-million mark.
North America

         Rio debuted with $39,225,962 during its opening weekend on approximately 6,400 screens at 3,826 theaters. It ranked number one at the box office surpassing the other new wide release, which ranked second, Scream 4. This was the highest-grossing opening weekend for a 2011 film at the time but now ranks 7th. It also scored the largest opening weekend in April for an animated feature, and the sixth largest in April overall. On its second weekend (Easter weekend) it retained first place at the box office, dropping only 33% to $26.3 million, therefore surpassing that weekend's releases, Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family ($25.1 million), Water for Elephants ($16.8 million) and African Cats ($6.0 million), which ranked second, third and sixth respectively.

         On its first weekend overseas, before its release in North America it topped the box office with $54.9 million from 11,714 screens in 72 countries. On its second weekend it earned $55.4 million, still on top of the overseas box office and on its third weekend it remained at the summit of the box office, grossing an estimated $44.3 million. It therefore marked the second movie that succeeded in topping the overseas box office three times in 2011, joining Tangled, although it is the only one that did it on three consecutive weekends.

Beyonce or Beyoncé Giselle Knowles was born on September 4, 1981. She is an American R&B singer, songwriter, record producer, actress and model. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she enrolled in various performing arts schools and was first exposed to singing and dancing competitions as a child. Knowles rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of the R&B girl group Destiny's Child. Britney then make a relationship with backup dancer Kevin Federline. They announced their engagement in July 2004, 3 months after they met. At that time, Kevin was associated with the actress, Shar Jackson, who was 8 months pregnant with their second child.

Britney was married to Kevin 18 September 2004 and registered on October 6, 2004. Britney birth her first child, Sean Preston Federline, on September 14, 2005. A few months after Sean was born, Britney pregnant again. The second child, Jayden James Federline, born on September 12, 2006, two days before Sean's first birthday.

On 7 November 2006, Britney filed for divorce from Kevin.

Since early 2007, Britney was always a thrill. In early February in she rehab drug addict. Less than 24 hours later he came out and the next night to cut his hair shaved. Britney went back to another rehab.

The simpsons then became a very “popular fiction family” in the entertainment world. This is very entertaining animated comedy series. It’s music theme composed by Danny Elfman. The show has broadcast 445 episodes since its debut on December 17, 1989 and the twenty-first season began airing on September 27, 2009. The Simpsons Movie, a feature-length film, was released in theaters worldwide on July 26 and July 27, 2007, and grossed US$527 million worldwide.


The Simpsons is the longest-running American sitcom, the longest-running American animated program, and in 2009 it surpassed Gunsmoke as the longest running American primetime entertainment series.Its has won dozens of awards since it debuted as a series, including 25 Primetime Emmy Awards, 26 Annie Awards and a Peabody Award. Time magazine's December 31, 1999 issue named it the 20th century's best television series, and on January 14, 2000 the Simpson family was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Homer's exclamatory catchphrase "D'oh!" has been adopted into the English lexicon, while The Simpsons has influenced many adult-oriented animated sitcoms.

He died on 1 June 25, 2009 (aged 50) at Los angeles, California,United States.He known as the "King of pop", one of the most successfull and influential entertainers at the world. His unique contributions to music and dance, along with a highly publicized personal life, made him a prominent figure in popular culture for four decades.


Alongside his brothers, he made his debut in 1964 as lead singer and youngest member of The Jackson 5, then began a successful solo career in 1971. His album named Thriller in 1982 remains the best-selling album of all time. The other album such as: Off the Wall (1979), Bad(1987), Dangerous(1991), and HIStory(1995) also got the best seller. He is widely credited with having transformed the music video from a promotional tool into an art form, with videos for his songs "Billie Jean", "Beat It" and "Thriller" making him the first African American artist following on MTV. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound, vocal style and choreography has inspired numerous hip hop, and contemporary R&B artists, while also breaking down cultural, racial and generational barriers.



One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements feature multiple Guinness World Records including the "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time",13 Grammy Awards, 22 American Music Awards (20 only as a solo artist, including one for "artist of the century"), 17 number one singles (including the four as a member of the Jackson 5), and estimated sales between 350 million and 750 million records worldwide. Jackson's personal life generated controversy for years. He change his look from the late 1970s onwards, with changes to his nose and to the color of his skin drawing media publicity. He was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993 though no charges were brought. He married twice, first in 1994 and again in 1996, and brought up three children, one born to a surrogate mother. While preparing for the This Is It concert tour in 2009, Jackson died after suffering from cardiac arrest.
